Ballet Guild of the Lehigh Valley, which began as the Bethlehem Ballet Company in 1958, celebrated its 50th season with the beginning of classes in September 2007. Many events were held to honor the occasion.

2008 marked the 40th Anniversary of yearly productions of The Nutcracker! Ballet Guild's Nutcracker was the first one held in the Lehigh Valley and was made possible by the generosity of the Junior League.
